তামিলনাড়ু: তামিলনাড়ুর মায়িলাদুথুরাই (Mayiladuthurai) জেলার থারাঙ্গাম্বাদির মেলা মরিয়ম্মান মন্দিরে (Mela Mariamman Temple) ‘থেমিথি’ (Theemithi) উদযাপনে অসংখ্য ভক্ত অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন। উৎসবে মন্দিরের সামনে অগ্নিকুণ্ডে আগুন জ্বালিয়ে তাঁর উপর দিয়ে হেটে ঠাকুরকে শ্রদ্ধা জানালেন বহু ভক্ত। মন্দিরটিতে এই উৎসবের উৎপত্তি বহু শতাব্দী প্রাচীন।
