সাতসকালে দিল্লির করোল বাগ (Karol Bagh) এলাকায় একটি বহুতল ভেঙে পড়ে। এই দুর্ঘটনায় ৪ জনের মৃত্যু ও ১৩ জন আহত হয়েছে। বাপা এলাকায় এই দুর্ঘটনায় আহতদের স্থানীয় হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। তাঁদের সঙ্গে বুধবার সন্ধেবেলায় দেখা করতে যান রাজ্যের নতুন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী অতিশি মারলেনা। তিনি বলেন, "ঘটনাটি খুবই দুঃখজনক ছিল। সকালে আমরা খবর পেয়েই স্থানীয় প্রতিনিধি, আধিকারিকদের ঘটনাস্থলে পাঠানো হয়ছিল। এখন মৃতদের পরিবার ও আহতদের সঙ্গে দেখা করেছি। দিল্লি সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে মৃতদের পরিবারকে ১০ লক্ষ টাকা ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়া হবে। অনেকেই গুরুতর আহত হয়েছেন, কয়েকজন অল্প বিস্তর আহত হয়েছেন, তাঁদের সেই মতো ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়া হবে"।
