আজ সকাল ১০টায় শুরু হয়েছে কংগ্রেসের সভাপতি নির্বাচন। সভাপতি পদপ্রার্থী বর্ষীয়ান কংগ্রেস নেতা মল্লিকার্জুন খাড়্গে তাঁর ভোটাধিকার প্রয়োগ করলেন বেঙ্গালুরুতে।

খাড়্গে জানান, এটা আমাদের অভ্যন্তরীণ নির্বাচনের একটি অংশ।প্রচারে আমরা একে অপরকে যা বলেছি তা বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ ভাবেই বলেছি । ফলাফল যাই হোক আমাদের একসঙ্গে দলকে গড়তে হবে।
তিনি জানান শশী থারুর তাঁকে ফোন করেছিলেন এবং শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন। তিনিও পাল্টা শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন।
