মায়ের সঙ্গে স্কুটিতে চেপে স্কুলে যাচ্ছিল ছোট্ট মেয়েটি। কিন্তু মাঝ রাস্তায় ঘটে গেল চরম অঘটন। নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে স্কুটি থেকে পরে যান মা এবং মেয়ে দুজনেই। পিছন থেকে দ্রুতগামী জলের ট্যাঙ্কার এসে পিষে দিয়ে যায় বছর দশেকের মেয়েটিকে। মায়ের চোখের সামনে মেয়ের নির্মম মৃত্যু। সোমবার চেন্নাইয়ের (Chennai) কাছে চেঙ্গলপাট্টু জেলার কোভিলাম্বাক্কামে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে। অভিযুক্ত ট্যাঙ্কার চালক পলাতক। মৃত ছাত্রীর নাম লিওরা শ্রী। অভিযুক্ত চালকের খোঁজ চালাচ্ছে পুলিশ।
