কাবুল বিমানবন্দরের দিকে ছুটে যাচ্ছেন হাজার হাজার মানুষ। একে অপরকে ঠেলে ফেলে যে ভাবেই হোক বিমানে ওঠার আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা চালিয়ে যাচ্ছেন তাঁরা। কাবুল বিমানবন্দর জনসমুদ্রে পরিণত হয়েছে।
কাবুলের হামিদ কারজাই আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর থেকে সব বাণিজ্যিক বিমান চলাচল বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হল। এক বিবৃতিতে বিমানবন্দর কর্তৃপক্ষ জানিয়েছে, বিমানবন্দরে ভিড় এড়ানোর জন্য আবেদন করা হয়েছে।
