এতদিন দুরপাল্লার এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেনের চাকা লাইনচ্যুত হওয়ার ঘটনা ঘটত। কিন্তু এবার লাইনচ্যুত হচ্ছে লোকাল ট্রেনের চাকা। রবিবার বেলা ১২টা ১০ নাগাদ ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে মুম্বই সেন্ট্রাল স্টেশনের (Central Mumbai Station) কাছে। জানা যাচ্ছে, ট্রেনটি সেই সময় ফাঁকা ছিল এবং সেটি কার্শেডের দিকে যাচ্ছিল। আর ঘটনাটি সেই সময়ই ঘটে। জানা যাচ্ছে, ট্রেনের দুটি বগিই লাইনচ্যুত হয়েছে। ইতিমধ্যেই ঘটনাস্থলে রেলকর্মীরা পৌঁছে গাড়িটিকে ট্র্র্যাকে তোলার চেষ্টা করছে। এই ঘটনার জন্য চার্জগেট ও মুম্বই সেন্ট্রালের লাইনে আপাতত ট্রেন চলাচল বন্ধ রাখা হয়েছে। ঘটনার তদন্ত হবে বলে জানিয়েছে রেল আধিকারিকরা।
