প্রসার ভারতীর চেয়ারম্যান পদে নিযুক্ত হলেন প্রাক্তন আইএএস অফিসার নভনীত কুমার শেহগাল (Navneet Kumar Sehgal)। শনিবার থেকেই তাঁকে দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে। বিগত চার বছর ধরে এই পদে কাউকেই দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয়নি। নভনীত কুমার শেহগালের আগে এই পদে সূর্য প্রকাশ ছিলেন। কিন্তু শারীরিক অসুস্থতার কারণে ২০২০ সালে তিনি ইস্তফা দেন। গত, শুক্রবারই নির্বাচনী কমিটি শেহগালের নাম চুডান্ত করে।
