ভারতে (India) জন্মাননি, এমন ১০ কোটি মানুষ সরকারি সুবিধা নিচ্ছিলেন। সেই সমস্ত ১০ কোটি মানুষকে খুঁজে বের করা হয়েছে। যে ১০ কোটি মানুষ দেশের বাইরে জন্মেও সমস্ত সরকারি সুবিধা নিচ্ছিলেন, তাঁদের নাম সরানো হয়েছে বিভিন্ন সরকারি প্রকল্পের তালিকা থেকে। লোকসভায় দাঁড়িয়ে মঙ্গলবার এমনই জানালেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Narendra Modi)। এই ১০ কোটি ঠগ লোকজন যেভাবে সরকারি সাহায্য নিচ্ছিলেন, এবার তাঁদের নাম সরানো হয়েছে বলে জানান প্রধানমন্ত্রী।
