Nainital: নৈনিতালে খাদে পড়ল যাত্রী বোঝাই বাস, নিহত ৮
নেপালি শ্রমিকদের নিয়ে রাতে ফেরার পথে খাদে পড়ে যায় বাসটি। চালকের নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে যাওয়ায় দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে বলে খবর।
সোমবার গভীর রাতে উত্তরাখণ্ডের নৈনিতালে (Nainital) সাংঘাতিক দুর্ঘটনা। যাত্রী বোঝাই বাস খাদে পড়ে অন্তপক্ষে ৮ জনের মৃত্যুর খবর সামনে এসেছে। ঘটনায় গুরুতর আহত হয়েছেন ৩ জন। প্রাথমিক ভাবে জানা যাচ্ছে, উত্তরাখণ্ডের (Uttarakhand) বেতালঘাট থেকে রওনা দিয়েছিল ওই বাস। বেতালঘাটে শ্রমিকের কাজে নেপাল থেকে এসেছিলেন নিহত যাত্রীরা। নেপালি শ্রমিকদের নিয়ে রাতে ফেরার পথে খাদে পড়ে যায় বাসটি। চালকের নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে যাওয়ায় দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে বলে খবর। সোজা গিয়ে ২০০ মিটার গভীর খাদে পড়ে বাসটি। পুলিশ জানাচ্ছে মৃতরা হলেন, বিশ্রাম চৌধুরী (৫০), ধীরাজ (৪৫), অনন্তরাম চৌধুরী (৪০),বিনোদ চৌধুরী (৩৮), তিলক চৌধুরী (৪৫), উদয়রাম চৌধুরী (৫৫), গোপাল বাসনিয়াত (৬০), রাজেন্দ্র কুমার (৩৮)।
