জম্মু ও কাশ্মীরে (Jammu and Kashmir) গ্রাম প্রতিরক্ষা গোষ্ঠী (Village Defence Groups) গঠনে অনুমোদন দিল কেন্দ্রীয় স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রক (Ministry of Home Affairs)। গ্রাম প্রতিরক্ষা গোষ্ঠীর সদস্যদের গ্রাম প্রতিরক্ষা গার্ড (Village Defence Guardsঃ হিসাবে মনোনীত করা হবে।
