কেরলের ভারকুলায় তিরুবন্ততপুরেমে পর্যটকদের আকর্ষণের জন্য ভাসমান সেতু তৈরি করা হয়েছিল। সমুদ্রের অনেকটা ভিতরে গিয়ে তা দেখার সুযোগ করে দিয়েছিল কেরলের পর্যটন সংস্থা।
কেরলের ভারকুলায় তিরুবন্ততপুরেমে পর্যটকদের আকর্ষণের জন্য ভাসমান সেতু তৈরি করা হয়েছিল। সমুদ্রের অনেকটা ভিতরে গিয়ে তা দেখার সুযোগ করে দিয়েছিল কেরলের পর্যটন সংস্থা। কিন্তু কেরলের সেই ভাসমান সেতুর রেলিং ভেঙে দুর্ঘটনা হল। রেলিং ভেঙে বেশ কয়েকজন সমুদ্রে পড়ে যান বলে খবর। তবে সবাইকে নিরাপদে উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। দুর্ঘটনাস্থলে রয়েছে বিশাল সংখ্যক পুলিশ বাহিনী।
