মথুরা থেকে এবারও বিজেপির (BJP) প্রার্থী হয়েছেন অভিনেত্রী হেমা মালিনী (Hema Malini)। মথুরা লোকসভা কেন্দ্রে বৃহস্পতিবার মনোনয়ন পত্র জমা দেবেন হেমা। মনোনয়ন জমা দেওয়ার আগের দিন অর্থাৎ আজ যমুনা পুজো করেন বিজেপি নেত্রী। স্থানীয় করমী, সমর্থকদের নিয়েই যমুনা পুজো সারেন হেমা। যমুনা এবার স্বচ্ছ হবে। লোকসভা নির্বাচন শেষের পর যমুনা নদীকে তিনি পরিষ্কার করেই ক্ষান্ত হবেন। আর এটা তাঁর প্রতিজ্ঞা বলে জানান বিজেপি নেত্রী।
