বিজেপিতে যোগ দিলেন অভিনেত্রী রূপালি গঙ্গোপাধ্যায় (Rupali Ganguly)। দিল্লিতে (Delhi) বিজেপির (BJP) দলীয় সদর কার্যালয়ে বিজেপিতে যোগ দেন অনুপমা অভিনেত্রী। বিজেপিতে যোগদানের পর সাংবাদিক সম্মেলন করেন রূপালি গঙ্গোপাধ্যায়। বিজেপিতে যোগদানের পর সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে রূপালি গঙ্গোপাধ্যায় বলেন, উন্নয়নের মহাযজ্ঞ চলছে। সেই উন্নয়ন যজ্ঞে তিনিও যোগ দিতে চান। সেই কারণেই তাঁর রাজনীতিতে আসা। রাজনীতিতে যোগ দিয়ে তিনি প্রত্যেকের ভালবাসা এবং আশীর্বাদ চান বলে জানান রূপালি গঙ্গোপাধ্যায়। পাশাপাশি যা সঠিক এবং ভাল, তার জন্যই তিনি কাজ করতে চান বলেও জানান টেলিভিশনের জনপ্রিয় অভিনেত্রী।
