ভোটের আবহে ধুন্ধুমারকাণ্ড কেরলে। তিরুবনন্তপুরমের (Thiruvananthapuram) মেয়র আর্য রাজেন্দ্রনের পদত্যাগের দাবিতে বিক্ষোভে নেমেছে বিজেপি। শনিবার দুপুরে মেয়র অফিসের সামনে একাধিক ইস্যু নিয়ে অবস্থান বিক্ষোভ করে রাজ্যের বিজেপি নেতৃত্ব। তবে এই ধর্না ওঠাতে গিয়ে রাজ্য পুলিশের সঙ্গে হাতাহাতি হয় বিরোধী শিবিরের নেতানেত্রীদের সঙ্গে। শেষমেশ বিক্ষোভকারীদের ছত্রভঙ্গ করতে জলকামানের ব্যবহার করে পুলিশ। জলের তোড়ে বিজেপির কর্মী সমর্থকদের পিছু হটাতে চেষ্টা করছে পুলিশ। তবে অন্যদিকে ব্যারিকেড ভেঙে আরও সামনে যেতে চাইছে বিজেপির কর্মী সমর্থকেরা।
