এখন জিনিস ব্যবহার করে ফেলে দেওয়ার যুগ চলছে। এই প্রথা আজকাল বিয়ে, প্রেমের ক্ষেত্রেও প্রযোজ্য। সম্প্রতি একটি বিবাহ বিচ্ছেদের মামলায় কেরালা হাইকোর্ট (Kerala High Court) জানাল, বর্তমানে লিভ-ইন সম্পর্কের সংখ্যা অনেক বেড়ে গেছে। কারণ সেই সম্পর্কে থাকে না কোনও দায়িবোধ। শখ মিটে গেলেই বেরিয়ে আসা যায় সম্পর্ক থেকে।
বৃহস্পতিবার মামলার শুনানিতে কেরালা হাইকোর্ট জানিয়েছে, আজকের নতুন প্রজন্ম ভাবে বিয়ে মানেই দায়িত্ব। সেজন্যই তারা বিয়ের চেয়ে লিভ-ইন সম্পর্কে বেশি বিশ্বাসী। এতে কোনও দায়িত্ব থাকে না এবং স্বাধীন ভাবে থাকা যায়। তারা "WIFE" বলতে বোঝায় "Worry Invented For Ever" অর্থাৎ স্ত্রী মানে সারা জীবনের চিন্তা যা আগে ছিল "Wise Investment For Ever" ।
