আজ মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হিসাবে সিদ্দারামাইয়া ও একমাত্র ডেপুটি হিসাবে ডিকে শিবকুমার শপথ গ্রহণ করবেন। ওনাদের সঙ্গেই আটজন বিধায়ক মন্ত্রী হিসাবে শপথ গ্রহণ করবেন বলে জানা গেছে।
কর্ণাটকে বিপুল জয়ের পর কংগ্রেস নেতৃত্ব ভরসা রেখেছেন প্রবীণ নেতা সিদ্দারামাইয়ার ওপর। আজ মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হিসাবে সিদ্দারামাইয়া ও একমাত্র ডেপুটি হিসাবে ডিকে শিবকুমার শপথ গ্রহণ করবেন। ওনাদের সঙ্গেই আটজন বিধায়ক মন্ত্রী হিসাবে শপথ গ্রহণ করবেন বলে জানা গেছে।তারা হলেন কংগ্রেস বিধায়ক ডঃ জি পরমেশ্বরা, কে এইচ মুনিয়াপ্পা, কেজে জর্জ, এমবি পাতিল, সতীশ জারকিহোলি, প্রিয়াঙ্ক খার্গে, রামালিঙ্গা রেড্ডি এবং বিজেড জামির আহমেদ খান। আজ বেঙ্গালুরুতে এই শপথ গ্রহণ অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
