প্রচারে যাওয়ার সময় মাথায় পড়ল ইট, আহত কর্ণাটকের প্রাক্তন উপ-মুখ্যমন্ত্রী এবং কংগ্রেস নেতা জি পরমেশ্বরা। কোরাটাগেরে নির্বাচনী এলাকায় প্রচারে বেরিয়েছিলেন তিনি। সেই সময় ভিড়ের মধ্যে থেকে একটি ইট তার মাথায় লাগে এবং মাথায় আঘাত পেয়ে রক্তপাত হতে শুরু করে।
স্থানীয় একটি স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রে তাঁকে নিয়ে যাওয়া হলে ডাক্তাররা তাঁর চিকিৎসা করেন। বর্তমানে তিনি এখন বিপদমুক্ত বলে জানা গেছে।
