সাংবাদিক বৈঠক চলাকালীন হৃদরোগ আক্রান্ত হয়ে মৃত্যু হল কর্ণাটক অনগ্রসর শ্রেণী ও সংখ্যালঘু অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সদস্য সিকে রবিচন্দ্রনের (CK Ravichandran)। বেঙ্গালুরুর প্রেস ক্লাবে সাংবাদিকদের সামনে বসে বক্তৃতা দেওয়ার সময়ে আচমকাই নিজের চেয়ার থেকে উলটে মেঝেতে পড়ে যান রবি। হাসপাতালে নিয়ে গেলে চিকিৎসকরা তাঁকে মৃত বলে জানিয়ে দেন। ঘটনায় শোক প্রকাশ করেছেন কর্ণাটকের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী সিদ্দারামাইয়া (Siddaramaiah)। রাজ্যের অনগ্রসর শ্রেণী ও সংখ্যালঘু অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সদস্যের হৃদরোগ আক্রান্ত হওয়ার সেই মুহূর্ত ছড়িয়েছে সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায়। যেখানে দেখা যাচ্ছে, বেঙ্গালুরুর প্রেস ক্লাবে সাংবাদিকদের সামনে বসে মাইক হাতে বক্তৃতা দিচ্ছেন রবি। কথা বলতে বলতে হঠাই চুপ করে গেলেন তিনি। একবার কেঁপে উঠলেন আর তারপরেই চেয়ার থেকে পড়ে গেলেন তিনি।
