পণ চাওয়ার অপরাধে গ্রেফতার বর। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে কর্ণাটকের বেলগাভিতে। জানা গেছে, বিয়েতে সব পক্ষের মতামত অনুযায়ী ঠিক হয়, বিয়ের জন্য বর পক্ষকে ৫০ গ্রাম সোনা এবং ১ লক্ষ টাকা দেওয়া হবে। কিন্তু বিয়ের দিন এগিয়ে এলে বরপক্ষ ১০০ গ্রাম সোনা এবং ১০ লক্ষ টাকা দাবি করে।
ঘটনার জেরে মেয়ের বাড়ির পক্ষ থেকে থানায় অভিযোগ জানানো হলে পুলিশ বরকে গ্রেফতার করে।
