১৯৯৯-র কার্গিল যুদ্ধের ২৪ বছর পার। বুধবার যুদ্ধ জয় উপলক্ষে উৎসব পালন করবে ভারতীয় সেনা। পাশাপাশি ওই যুদ্ধে শহিদ বীর সেনানীদের স্মরণ করবে গোটা দেশ।
১৯৯৯-র কার্গিল যুদ্ধের ২৪ বছর পার। বুধবার যুদ্ধ জয় উপলক্ষে উৎসব পালন করবে ভারতীয় সেনা। পাশাপাশি ওই যুদ্ধে শহিদ বীর সেনানীদের স্মরণ করবে গোটা দেশ। ইতিমধ্যেই শুরু হয়ে গেছে কার্গিল বিজয় দিবসের(Kargil Vijay Diwas 2023) উদযাপন। ১৯৯৯-তে লাদাখের কার্গিল-দ্রাস-বাটালিক সেক্টরে ভারতীয় ভূখণ্ডে ঢুকে পড়ে পাকিস্তানের নর্দান লাইট এনফ্রেন্টি। প্রায় দু'মাস ধরে চলে যুদ্ধ। এর পর পাকিস্তানি সেনার থেকে ওই এলাকা পুরোপুরি দখল মুক্ত করে ভারতীয় সেনা। আজ সেই রক্তক্ষয়ী যুদ্ধে জীবন উৎসর্গকারী সেনাদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করলেন রাজ্যসভা ও লোকসভার সাংসদরা।
