জম্মু ও কাশ্মীরঃ বারামুল্লা পুলিশের অক্লান্ত প্রচেষ্টায় অবশেষে উদ্ধার হল প্রায় ২৫০ জন পর্যটক। জানা গেছে ওই পর্যটকরা গুলমার্গের গন্ডোলা রাইডের জন্য গন্ডোলা ২য় ফেজ আফারওয়াত স্টেশনে গিয়েছিল। এবং তাঁর পর তারা কেবল কারে চড়ে বসেন। কিন্তু ক্যাবল কার অপারেশনে প্রযুক্তিগত ত্রুটির কারণে তারা ওই অবস্থাতেই সেখানে আটকে যান। এরপর তাদের উদ্ধারে নামে বারামুল্লা পুলিশ।উদ্ধারের পর আটকে পড়া পর্যটকদের নিরাপদে গুলমার্গ ঘাঁটিতে ফিরিয়ে আনা হয়।
