জম্মু কাশ্মীরে (Jammu And Kashmir) কোনওভাবেই জঙ্গি (Terrorists) কার্যকলাপ বাড়তে দেওয়া যাবে না। সেই উদ্দেশেই উপত্যকায় জঙ্গি নিধন শুরু করেছে সেনা বাহিনী। যার জেরে চলতি বছরে এখনও পর্যন্ত ৬২ জন জঙ্গি নিহত সেনার গুলিত। এমনই জানালেন আইজিপি কাশ্মীর। এই ৬২ জন জঙ্গির মধ্যে লস্কর-ই-তইবার ৩২ জন, জইশ-ই-মহম্মদের ১৫ জন, এইচএম-এর ৬ জন এবং আল বদর-এর ২ জন। শুধু তাই নয়, এই ৬২ জনের মধ্যে ৪৭ জন স্থানীয় এবং ১৫ জন বিদেশি জঙ্গি বলেও জানানো হয়েছে জম্মু কাশ্মীরের পুলিশ আধিকারিকের তরফে।
