মাঝারি পাল্লার সারফেস টু এয়ার মিসাইল এয়ার ডিফেন্স সিস্টেমের (Air Missile Air Defence System) সফল পরীক্ষা চালাল ভারত। ডিআরডিও (DRDO) জানিয়েছে, ওড়িশার বালাসোরে উপকূলে এই পরীক্ষা চালানো হয়েছে। সিস্টেমটি ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর অংশ। পরীক্ষায় মিসাইলট খুব দূরে থাকা লক্ষ্যবস্তুতে সরাসরি আঘাত করেছে।
