বৃহস্পতিবার নির্মীয়মাণ বহুতলে কাজ করতে গিয়ে ঘটল বিপত্তি। মুম্বইয়ের মালাড ইস্টে (Malad East) নিউ লাইফ এসআরএ প্রজেক্ট সাইটে বহুতল থেকে পড়ে যায় ৫ জন শ্রমিক। এদের মধ্যে ২ জনের ঘটনাস্থলেই মৃত্যু হয়। বাকি ৩ জনের অবস্থা আশঙ্কাজনক। তাঁদের তড়িঘড়ি উদ্ধার করে স্থানীয় হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়া যায়। ঘটনাস্থলে দমকল বাহিনী ও স্থানীয় পুলিশের আধিকারিকরা। যদিও কীভাবে ওই শ্রমিকরা উল্টে পড়ল সেই বিষয়ে এখনও কিছু জানা যায়নি। ঘটনার তদন্ত শুরু করেছে পুলিশ।
