লোকসভা নির্বাচনে (Lok Sabha Election 2024) আসানসোল থেকেই তাহলে লড়তে চলেছেন ভোজপুরি গায়ক পবন সিং (Pawan Singh)। অন্তত তাঁর সাম্প্রতিকতম টুইট দেখে এমনটাই আশা করছেন সকলে। প্রার্থী হিসেবে বিজেপির (BJP) পক্ষ থেকে প্রথমে তাঁর নাম ঘোষণা হলেও পরে বিতর্ক শুরু হতেই তিনি পিছিয়ে আসেন। এমনকী বঙ্গ বিজেপির একাধিক নেতাও পবন সিংকে মেনে নিতে পারছিলেন না। তারপরে তিনি নির্বাচন থেকে সরে আসার সিদ্ধান্তও নেন। কিন্তু বুধবার এক্স হ্যান্ডেলে টুইট করে পবন স্পষ্ট জানিয়ে দেন তিনি নির্বাচনে লড়বেন।
