এলাহাবাদ হাইকোর্ট সম্প্রতি রাজ্য সরকারকে ধর্ষণের শিকারকে দেওয়া ক্ষতিপূরণ পুনরুদ্ধার করার নির্দেশ দিয়েছে , এই নির্দেশ দেওয়ার সময় আদালত বলেছে বিচার চলাকালীন যারা শত্রুতা করেছে তাদের কাছ থেকেই শুধু পুনরুদ্ধার করতে বলা হয়েছে। এক্ষেত্রে জীতন লোধ ওরফে জিতেন্দ্র বনাম উত্তরপ্রদেশ সরকার মামলার কথা নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে]।
