রাত পেরোলেই গণেশ চতুর্থীর উৎসবে মাতবে গোটা দেশ। তারই শেষ মুহুর্তের প্রস্তুতিতে মগ্ন মৃৎ শিল্পীরা। মহারাষ্ট্র হোক বা উত্তরপ্রদেশ শিল্পীদের শেষ বেলার কাজে দম ফেলার জো নেই। কারণ আজই মণ্ডপের উদ্দেশ্যে পাড়ি দেবেন গণপতি।তাই তুলির শেষ টান শিল্পীর স্টুডিওতে। মৃৎ শিল্পী শিব জানান -
মূর্তি তৈরি একটি দীর্ঘ প্রক্রিয়া। এতে প্রায় ৫-৬ মাস সময় লাগে। ভাগে ভাগে এই কাজ করা হয়। আমরা সকাল ৮টা থেকে রাত ১০টা পর্যন্ত কাজ করি।"
