Kolkata Earthquake: কলকাতায় ভূমিকম্প, উৎসস্থল বাংলাদেশ, কাঁপল উত্তর ২৪ পরগণাও

ভূমিকম্পের কাঁপুনি শহর কলকাতায়। মৃদু কম্পন অনুভূত হল বাংলাদেশের সীমান্তবর্তী জেলা উত্তর ২৪ পরগণার বেশ কিছু অংশ। ভূমিকম্পটির উৎসস্থল ছিল বাংলাদেশের সীমান্তবর্তী জেলা উত্তর ২৪ পরগণার বেশ কিছু অংশ। ভূ পৃষ্ঠ থেকে ১৬ কিলোমিটার নীচে এই ভূমিকম্পটি হয়েছে। রিখটার স্কেলে ভূমিকম্পটির মাত্রা ছিল ৫.৪। বাংলাদেশের রাজধানী ঢাকাতে এই ভূমিকম্পটি বেশী অনুভূত হয়।

স্বাধীনতা দিবসের আগের সন্ধ্যায় কেঁপে উঠল উত্তর পূর্ব ভারতের বিভিন্ন অংশ। ৫.৪ মাত্রার ভূমিকম্পে কেঁপে উঠল অসম, ত্রিপুরা, মেঘালয় সহ উত্তর পূর্ব ভারতের বিভিন্ন রাজ্য। আগরতলা থেকে গুয়াহাটি, শিলচর থেকে আইজলে কম্পন অনুভূত হয়। সোমবার স্বাধীনতা দিবসের আলোয় রঙীন সন্ধ্যায় গুয়াহাটিতে ভূমিকম্পের আতঙ্ক। সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ার মাধ্যমে অসমের মানুষ ভূমিকম্প অনুভূব করার কথা শেয়ার করতে থাকেন।" আপাতত বড় কোনও ক্ষয়ক্ষতির খবর নেই। বেশ কয়েকটি জায়গায় মানুষজন ঘর থেকে বেরিয়ে রাস্তায় চলে আসেন।
