যদি প্রদীপে লেখো নাম... লোকসভা নির্বাচনের প্রচার শুরুর আগে অসম সফরে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। আর মোদী আসছেন বলে কথা, বিশেষ তো করতেই হবে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হিমন্ত বিশ্বশর্মাকে। আর তাই মাটির প্রদীপের আলোয় লেখা হল 'মোদী নাম'। হিমন্ত বিশ্বশর্মার রাজ্যে মোদীকে স্বাগত জানাতে প্রদীপের আলোয় সাজানো হল। প্রদীপের আলোয় লেখা হল, ওয়েলকাম মোদীজি। গুয়াহাটির ভেটরিনারি কলেজের বড় মাঠে সাজানো হল প্রদীপ দিয়ে।
আগামিকাল, রবিবার গুয়াহাটিতে ১১ হাজার কোটি টাকার প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন করবেন মোদী। অসমে ১৪টি লোকসভাতেই জয়ের লক্ষ্যে ঝাঁপিয়েছে বিজেপি। আর সেই লক্ষ্যে মোদীর প্রতিটি সফরকে গ্র্যান্ড ইভেন্ট বানাতে পরিশ্রম করছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী তথা বিজেপির তুরুপের তাস হিমন্ত বিশ্বশর্মা।
