পিনাকা-ইআর হল পিনাকার আগের সংস্করণের আধুনিক সংস্করণ। যা গত এক দশক ধরে ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর হাতে রয়ছে।
বর্ধিত পাল্লার পিনাকা মাল্টি ব্যারেল রকেট লঞ্চার সিস্টেমের (Pinaka Multi Barrel Rocket Launcher System) পরীক্ষা চালাল ভারতের প্রতিরক্ষা গবেষণা ও উন্নয়ন সংস্থা (DRDO)। আজ সকালে পোখরান রেঞ্জে সফলভাবে পরীক্ষা করা হয়েছে পিনাকা-ইআর (Pinaka-ER) সিস্টেমের।
