অভিনেতা-রাজনীতিবিদ, তামিলনাড়ু বিধানসভার বিরোধী দলের প্রাক্তন নেতা এবং দেশিয়া মুরপোক্কু দ্রাবিড় কাজগাম (ডিএমডিকে) এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা বিজয়কান্ত দীর্ঘ অসুস্থতার পরে আজ মারা গেছেন।
দেশিয়া মুরপোক্কু দ্রাবিড় কাজগাম (DMDK)দলের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা এবং অভিনেতা বিজয়কান্তের দেহাবসান। দীর্ঘ অসুস্থতার পরে আজ সকালে একটি বেসরকারি হাসপাতালে তাঁর মৃত্যু হয়। তার বয়স হয়েছিল ৭১। আজ সকালেই তাঁর কোভিড রিপোর্ট পজিটিভ আসে। শারীরিক অবস্থার অবনতি এবং অত্যাধিক শ্বাসকষ্টের কারণে বিজয়কান্তকে ভেন্টিলেটরেও রাখা হইয়েছিল বলে তাঁর রাজনৈতিক দল দেশিয়া মুরপোক্কু দ্রাবিড় কাজগাম এর তরফে জানানো হয়।
