দিল্লি হাইকোর্টের বিচারপতি যশবন্ত ভর্মা-র সরকারী বাসভবনে অগ্নিকাণ্ডে আতঙ্ক তৈরি হয়। সেই সময় অবশ্য সেই বাংলোয় ছিলেন না বিচারপতি ভর্মা।
Delhi High Court Judge Yashwant Verma Transferred to Allahabad HC After Cash Found in Bungalow Fire Incident: দিল্লি হাইকোর্টের বিচারপতি যশবন্ত ভর্মা-র সরকারী বাসভবনে অগ্নিকাণ্ডে আতঙ্ক তৈরি হয়। সেই সময় অবশ্য সেই বাংলোয় ছিলেন না বিচারপতি ভর্মা। বিচারপতির জন্য বরাদ্দ সরকারী বাসভবনের একটি ঘরে আগুন লাগলে দমকলে খবর দেন তার পরিবারের সদস্যরা। দমকল কর্মীরা কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই বিচারপতির বাংলোর আগুন নিভিয়ে দেন। আগুন নেভানোর সময় তাঁর ঘর থেকে বেশ কিছু নথিপত্র বের করে আনা হয়। এরপর দেখা যায় বিচারপতি ভর্মা-র ঘর থেকে উদ্ধার হয় বিপুল পরিমাণ অর্থ। এই ঘটনার বিচারপতি যশবন্ত ভর্মা-কে এলাহাবাদ হাইকোর্টে ট্রান্সফার করে দেওয়া হয়। তিনি এলাহাবাদ হাইকোর্ট থেকে দিল্লি হাইকোর্টে এসেছিলেন। বেশ কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মামলায় তিনি রায় দিয়েছেন।
