ফের চড়চড়িয়ে বাড়ছে করোনা (Corona) সংক্রমণ। গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় মহারাষ্ট্রে করোনায় (COVID 19) আক্রান্ত ২১৬৫ জন। করোনা আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা যেমন বাড়ছে, তেমনি গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় মৃত্যু হয় ৪ জনের। ফলে এই মুহূর্তে মহারাষ্ট্রে (Maharashtra) মোট করোনা আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা ১৮,২৬৭। পুণের এনআইভি-র পরিসংখ্যান অনুযায়ী, মহারাষ্ট্রে যাঁরা কোভিড আক্রান্ত, তাঁদের মধ্যে ২ জনের শরীরে BA.5 প্রজাতির খোঁজ মিলেছে। পাশাপাশি যে ২ জনের শরীরে BA.5 প্রজাতির খোঁজ মিলেছে, তাঁরা থানের বাসিন্দা। ওই ২ জন গত ২৮ মে এবং ৩০ মে কোভিডে আক্রান্ত হন।
