এতদিন হিমন্ত বিশ্বশর্মা জেড ক্যাটাগরির নিরাপত্তা পেতেন। তাও আবার শুধু উত্তর পূর্ব ভারতে। এবার ভারতের যেখানেই হিমন্ত যান তিনি সিআরপিএফ নিরাপত্তা বলয় সহ জেডি প্লাস নিরাপত্তা পাবেন। অসমের পাশাপাশি উত্তর পূর্ব ভারতে এখন হিমন্তই হয়ে উঠে বিজেপির মুখ। মহারাষ্ট্রে একনাথ শিন্ডের সরকার গড়ার পিছনেও হিমন্তের ভূমিকা ছিল।
