কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার জাতীয় খাদ্য নিরাপত্তা আইনের অধীনে প্রতি কেজি চাল দেয় ৩ টাকায় এবং ১ কেজি গম দেয় ২ টাকায়। সেই প্রধানমন্ত্রী গরিব কল্যাণ অন্ন যোজনার মেয়াদকাল বাড়িয়ে করা হল ২০২৩ সালের ডিসেম্বর অবধি। ৮১.৩৫ কোটি মানুষ এই সুবিধা পাবেন।
