কম্পিটিশন কমিশন অফ ইন্ডিয়ার (Competition Commission of India ) চেয়ারম্যান নিযুক্ত করা হল রভনীত কউরকে(Ravneet Kaur)। ২০২২ সাল অশোক কুমার গুপ্তা পদ ছাড়ার পরে এই পদে পূর্ণ সময়ের জন্য কাউকে রাখা হয়নি। গত বছরের অক্টোবর মাস থেকে চেয়ারপার্সন হিসেবে দায়িত্ব সামলে আসছিলেন সঙ্গীতা বার্মা নামের এক আধিকারিক।
পাঞ্জাব ক্যাডারের আইএএস অফিসার রভনীত কউরকে পাঁচ বছরের জন্য এই পদে নিযুক্ত করা হবে । অথবা আজকের দিন থেকে তাঁর ৬৫ বছর বয়স পূর্ণ হওয়া অবধি থাকতে পারবেন তিনি।
বাড়ি এবং গাড়ির সুবিধা বাদ দিয়ে ছাড়া মাসিক ৪ লক্ষ ৫০ হাজার টাকা মাইনে পাবেন কম্পিটিশন কমিশনের একজন চেয়ারম্যান।
