গুয়াহাটিতে চিতাবাঘের আক্রমনে আহত ২। তাদেরকে আহত অবস্থায় চিকিৎসার জন্য নিয়ে যাওয়া হয় গুয়াহাটি মেডিকেল কলেজ এবং হাসপাতালে। আহত ব্যক্তিরা হলেন যথাক্রমে সুমন কুমার সিং এবং মুনায়ির সিং।
চিতাটিকে ধরতে এর আগে খাঁচার ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছিল, কিন্তু কোনভাবেই সে ধরা পড়েনি বলে জানা গেছে। বনদফতরের আধিকারিকরা চেষ্টা করছেন চিতাটিকে যাতে ফাঁদে ফেলে ধরা যায় তার ব্যবস্থা করতে।
