আসাম-ত্রিপুরা সীমান্তের চুরাইবাড়ি অঞ্চলে তল্লাশি চলাকালীন ২৪০০ কেজি গাঁজা বাজেয়াপ্ত করল অসম পুলিশ। পুলিশসূত্রে জানা গেছে প্রতিবেশী রাজ্য থেকে আসা একটি ট্রাককে প্রথমে আটক করা হয়, সেখানেই ড্রামের ভিতর লুকিয়ে রাখা ২৪০০ কেজি গাঁজা বাজেয়াপ্ত করা হয়েছে। দুই অভিযুক্তকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে বলে জানান মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শর্মা.
