মর্মান্তিক সড়ক দুর্ঘটনা ঘটল মধ্যপ্রদেশের ইন্দোরের (Indore) ধর রোড়ে। বুধবার গভীর রাতে ইন্দোর-আমেদাবাদ হাইওয়েতে বেতওয়া থানার কাছে ঘটনাটি ঘটে। জানা যাচ্ছে, দুর্ঘটনার কবলে পড়েছিল একটি বোলেরো এসইউভি গাড়ি। নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারানোর কারণেই দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটে। আর তাতে গাড়িতে থাকা ৯ জন যাত্রীর মধ্যে এক নিমেষে ৮ জনের মৃত্যু হয়। ঘটনাটি ঘটার পর স্থানীয়রা পুলিশে খবর দিলে তাঁরা কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই চলে আসেন। শুরু হয় উদ্ধারকাজ। পুলিশের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, এই মৃতদের মধ্যে একজন রাজ্য পুলিশের কর্মী ছিলেন। ঘটনাস্থল থেকে একজনকে সঙ্কটজনক অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। তাঁকে তড়িঘড়ি স্থানীয় হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসার জন্য পাঠানো হয়েছে। আপাতত তাঁর অবস্থা স্থীতিশীল।
