সাতসকালে উধমপুরের (Udhampur) পাওয়ার গ্রিড স্টেশন ভয়াবহ আগুন লাগে। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে উধমপুর জেলার বাত্তাল বাল্লিয়ান শিল্প এলাকায়। আগুন দেখে ঘটনাস্থলে দমকল বাহিনীকে ডাকা হয়। দমকলের গাড়ি এসে আপাতত আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনার চেষ্টা করছে। যদিও এখনও নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসেনি। তবে কীভাবে আগুন লাগল তা এখনও জানা যায়নি। অন্যদিকে, এই ঘটনায় হতাহতের কোনও খবর নেই।
