বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটল জম্মু-শ্রীনগর হাইওয়ের (Jammu Srinagar Highway) কাছে একটি হোটেলে। জানা যাচ্ছে, এদিন সকালে আচমকাই হোটেলের একটি ঘর থেকে ধোঁয়া বেড়োতে দেখতে পায় স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা। তারপর তড়িঘড়ি দমকল ও স্থানীয় প্রসাশনকে খবর দেওয়া হয়। ঘটনাস্থলে আসে দমকলের একটি ইঞ্জিন। এরপর শুরু হয় আগুন নেভানোর কাজ। ঘন্টাখানেকের চেষ্টায় পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে চলে আসে। যদিও হতাহতের কোনও খবর নেই এবং আগুন কীভাবে লাগল সেই বিষয়ে এখনই কিছু জানা যায়নি।
