কেবল টিভি নেটওয়ার্ক এবং ব্রডকাস্ট সংস্থা প্যারামাউন্টে ছাঁটাই শতাধিক কর্মী। খরচ বাঁচাতে এবং সংস্থার লভ্যাংশ বাড়াতে এই পদক্ষেপ বলে জানা যাচ্ছে। মুখ্যকার্যনির্বাহী অফিসার বব বাকিশের তরফে জানানো হয়েছে এই খবর।
এরপাশাপাশি মিউজিক সংস্থা ওয়ার্নার মিউজিক গ্রুপের তরফে তাদের মোট কর্মচারীর ১০ শতাংশ ছাঁটাই করার কথা জানিয়েছে।
