১৯৪৫ সালে সাভারকুন্ডলায় জন্মগ্রহণ করেন কমলেশ অবস্থি। এরপর ভাবনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে স্নাতকোত্তর এবং পিএইচডি পড়েন। ঝুলিতে ডক্টরেট ডিগ্রী থাকলেও গানের প্রতি তাঁর ঝোক ছিল বরাবর।
চলে গেলেন মুকেশের কন্ঠ হিসেবে পরিচিত গায়ক কমলেশ অবস্থি। আহমেদাবাদে নিজ বাসভবনে তিনি শেষ নিঃশ্বাস ত্যাগ করেন। গায়ক অবস্থির মৃত্যুতে শিল্প জগতে শোকের ছায়া নেমে এসেছে। 'তেরা সাথ হ্যায় তো..', জিন্দেগি ইমতিহান লেতি হ্যায়-এর মতো অনেক সুপারহিট গান কমলেশ অবস্থি গেয়েছিলেন।
১৯৪৫ সালে সাভারকুন্ডলায় জন্মগ্রহণ করেন কমলেশ অবস্থি। এরপর ভাবনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে স্নাতকোত্তর( M.Sc.) এবং পিএইচডি পড়েন। ঝুলিতে ডক্টরেট ডিগ্রী থাকলেও গানের প্রতি তাঁর ঝোক ছিল বরাবর।ভাবনগরের সপ্তকলা থেকে তার গানের কেরিয়ার শুরু হয়। প্রথমদিকে মঞ্চে গান গাইলেও ১৯৭৯ সালে কমলেশ অবস্থি তার প্রথম মিউজিক অ্যালবাম 'ট্রিবিউট টু মুকেশ' প্রকাশ করেন।
